Swimming Pool Crack Repair
Concrete pools offer an array of variations, design possibilities, and added value to ones home. From time to time, concrete swimming pools may develop cracks on the floor or walls. This is usually a result of natural movement of the structure as it settles, geothermal activity, or poor workmanship.
Pool cracks can be extremely costly if left untreated. Water loss or seepage into the cavity can cause even further movement or unsettling of the surrounding grounds... heightening the likeliness of additional stress being imposed on the pool itself.

If the pool structure is left unstabilized, a shift or further settling can rejuvenate the crack again, and the epoxy injection solution has now become null and void.
Using Torque Lock Staples to "stitch" the crack, provides 5,000 lbs of torque per staple installed. This ensures that you stabilize the crack from further expansion. Followed up with epoxy to prevent leakage.
Each staple should be evenly distributed across the length of the crack, so that crack-tension is not transmitted on one staple alone, and instead spread across the entire stitching application.
Once completed, you can go over the repaired areas with a finishing product that matches that of the swimming pool (plaster, paint, tile, marcite, cool deck, etc...).
